We like to provide volunteer Cabin Guides to show museum visitors round our boats, and particularly inside the back cabin of “Forget me Not”. This happens mainly at weekends, but we are also trying to arrange for guides on some weekday evenings for the crews of visiting boats. They often miss museum opening times but are usually interested in the boats.
Could you describe what life was like on a narrowboat in an interesting way to the public, help keep the boat interiors tidy, polish the brasses and maintain the information boards? Then why not join us!
