Respite trip on Hazel

Just a snap from last weeks trip with The Dream Centre Carers Support group, Droylsden. Lovely feedback received from them too.

Caring can often be stressful, isolating and can feel like the most unappreciated job in the world. Meeting with other carers can help by offering mutual support, friendship and advice on the issues that carers face. The Dream Centre Carers Support group can help by offering mutual support, friendship and advice on the issues that carers face. Taking some time out with others that understand and can help carers recharge their batteries.

This is Hazel doing what she does best, giving folk a relaxing time on the canal and promoting well-being, but a slight twist in that this is the first trip she has had giving respite for carers, a new avenue where she can help people. Let’s hope she can do more of these.
